Treaty No.9 (1905–6)

Treaty No.9, enacted in 1905–06, brought the Indigenous people in what is now northern Ontario under the administrative control of the Canadian government. The treaty was negotiated at Moose Factory (Ont.) and New Brunswick House (on the shore of Brunswick Lake).
